The Southern Alleghenies Workforce Development Board (SAWDB) is a recognized leader and active partner in regional workforce development initiatives and includes representatives from the private sector, community-based organizations, economic development agencies, education, organized labor and the PA Department of Labor and Industry. Each year the SAWDB directs the expenditure of over $3,000,000 in support of the local workforce system and the PA CareerLinks® that serve the six-county Southern Alleghenies workforce investment area.
