Smith Transport, a large Blair County - based warehouse operator, will create 133 new jobs as a result of its expansion in the Vail Subzone located along the I-99 Corridor in Northern Blair County.  The company constructed a 250,000 square foot facility at a total project cost of approximately $7 million.

(NES), one of the largest equipment leasing companies in the country based in Evanston, Illinois is building a facility in the South Central Business Park located in McConnellsburg, Fulton County.  The facility will employ approximately 70 people in its first year and a total of 150 by the end of the third year.

Fulton Precision Industries (FPI), a "home grown" firm with local owners, will construct a 78,000 square foot manufacturing center for precision tooling and machining in South Central Business Park located in McConnellsburg, Fulton County.  FPI specializes in machining steel parts for other manufacturing firms, after the steel is heated treated.  The firm plans to hire about 57 more people over the next three years.
