Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP)

PennDOT’s Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) is designed to help Pennsylvania’s municipalities, which maintain over 75,000 miles of roadways, make the best use of their roadway maintenance dollars. LTAP provides technical information and introduces proven technologies related to roadway maintenance and safety methods to meet the growing demands on municipal governments. These services are offered to municipalities at little or no cost and include workshop courses, technical assistance by phone or in-person, newsletters and technical information sheets, and a lending library with information on maintenance and safety topics. To take advantage of these valuable resources or to learn more about the program please visit PennDOT’s LTAP website.

Every year SAP&DC partners with the Blair and Cambria County Planning Commissions to bring LTAP workshop training courses to the Southern Alleghenies Region free of charge.
