The Twelve Year Plan (TYP) is a twelve-year listing of highway, bridge, and Transportation Enhancement Projects (TEP).  The first four years of the TYP consist of the Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP), while the remaining eight years include projects consistent with the goals of the Southern Alleghenies Long Range Transportation Plan.  The TYP is updated every four years, in conjunction with the TIP.
