The Southern Alleghenies Rural Planning Organization (RPO) Public Participation Plan (PPP) outlines a series of standard procedures for informing the public and involving them in the transportation planning process.  The PPP serves as a guide to outline public participation activities for transportation-related public meetings, the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). 

The Public Participation Plan was adopted by the Sothern Alleghenies RPO Rural Transportation Coordinating Committee (RTCC) on August 10, 2011.
