The Southern Alleghenies Workforce Investment Board (SAWIB) provides leadership and resources to help individuals develop their skills and businesses develop their workforce.

In addition to overseeing CareerLink, SAWIB focuses on building industry and public-sector partnerships in order to address workforce development issues.

SAWIB addresses human capital needs, raises the skill level of the current workforce using a variety of incumbent-worker training programs, and exposes youth to the workplace by promoting career and educational awareness and work experience.
